This website is a single page about Isa Herrera and her work. It has no forms, no sign ups, no accounts and no checkout, so there is nothing here for you to hand over and nothing for us to store.

The short version

What we collect, and what we do not

We do not collect anything from you directly. There is no contact form on this site, no newsletter box, no quiz, no login, no shopping cart and no payment page. You cannot type anything into this website, so nothing you type can reach us.

What does happen, as it does on every website, is that your browser makes a request to load the page. That request carries ordinary technical information: your IP address, the type of browser and device you are using, the page you asked for and the time you asked for it. Our hosting provider handles that in order to deliver the page to you.

If you allow the analytics and advertising tools described below, those tools collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view and how you arrived.

Cookies, and the one cookie we set

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site sets exactly one of its own:

• ppr_consent. Its value is either granted or denied. It records the choice you made on the cookie banner and nothing else. It contains no name, no email address and no identifier for you. It lasts 180 days and is limited to this site.

If you allow the analytics and advertising tools, those tools set cookies of their own. Google and Meta describe those in their own policies. If you decline, they are not set.

The page you are reading right now sets no cookies at all and runs no analytics.

Analytics and advertising tools

On the rest of the site we use Google Tag Manager to load two kinds of tool:

• Google Analytics 4, so we can see which pages people read and which ones they leave.
• The Meta Pixel and related advertising measurement tools, so we can tell whether an ad brought someone here.

Most of these tools are configured to hold their fire until they have permission. They read the choice stored in your ppr_consent cookie before they run.

We do not use them to collect information about your health. This site does not ask you about your symptoms, and nothing about a health condition is passed to Google or Meta by us.

Where permission is required, and where it is assumed

The rules are not the same everywhere, so the site does not treat everyone the same way.

Off by default

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom or California, analytics and advertising are switched off before the page even loads. Nothing turns on unless you choose Accept on the banner. The site works out which of these applies from the country and region your connection reports, without sending your address to any outside lookup service.

On by default, with an opt out

Everywhere else, the tools start switched on and the banner offers you Reject. Choose it and they switch off, and your choice is remembered for 180 days.

One thing stays on in every region: the basic security function that lets the site tell a real visitor from an attack. It does not track you across other websites.

Changing your mind

Your answer lives in the ppr_consent cookie, so clearing that cookie clears your answer and the banner will ask you again on your next visit. Every major browser lets you delete cookies for a single site from its privacy or history settings.

You can also switch tracking off at the browser level. Most browsers offer a setting that blocks third party cookies.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no. Some browsers and privacy add ons can tell every website you visit that you do not want your information sold or shared. If yours sends that signal, we switch analytics and advertising off, we record that answer so it holds for 180 days, and we do not show you the banner, because you have already answered. It works this way wherever you live, not only in California, and it overrides an earlier yes.

Do we sell or share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. No one pays us for information about you, and we do not trade it, rent it or pass it to data brokers.

Sharing needs a straighter answer, because California law uses that word in a particular way. If you choose Accept, the advertising tools described above pass identifiers such as a cookie identifier to Meta and Google so that advertising can be measured. Under California law that can count as sharing for cross context behavioural advertising. Three things are true about it:

• In California it does not happen at all unless you choose Accept, because the default there is off.
• It stops the moment you choose Reject or clear the cookie.
• It never involves your name, your email address, or anything you have told us about your health, because this site does not collect any of those.

Who else touches your information

• Cloudflare hosts this site and secures the connection. Delivering a page to you means Cloudflare handles the request, including your IP address. It acts as our infrastructure provider.
• Google and Meta receive information from the analytics and advertising tools, but only where those tools are permitted to run.

The typefaces on this site are served from our own server. There is no request to Google Fonts anywhere on this website, so nothing about your visit reaches Google that way.

Links to other places

This site links out to rootganic.com, to pelvicpainrelief.com and to YouTube. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's website, under their privacy policy rather than this one. Please read theirs.

Your rights

If you live in California

You have the right to know what personal information is collected about you and how it is used, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, to opt out of its sale or of sharing for cross context advertising, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to be treated no differently for exercising any of these rights. You may use an authorised agent.

If you live elsewhere in the United States

A number of states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, give their residents comparable rights over access, correction, deletion and targeted advertising. Tell us where you live and we will apply your state's rules.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area

You have the right to see the information held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how it is used, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time without that affecting anything done before you withdrew it. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority, which in the United Kingdom is the Information Commissioner's Office.

How to exercise any of them

Write to us at the address below and tell us what you would like done. We will need enough information to be confident we are answering the right person, and we will reply within the time your law allows. Because this site does not collect names or email addresses, in most cases the honest answer will be that we hold nothing about you at all.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. If the change is a significant one, we will say so plainly here rather than leave you to spot it.
